Pastor Jason Moody is man on assignment with a Heavenly mandate to see his generation shaken and transformed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Church, he is passion and purpose driven with a clear mission to connect those he shepherds and his surrounding community to a better life through Christ. His mission is clear and he unashamedly proclaims the Word of God with boldness and conviction to see lives touched and radically changed by the power of God.
A native of New Jersey, Pastor Jason grew up in and around ministry all of his life. At an early age, he received Jesus Christ into his heart and began to diligently serve at his home church, Greater Bible Way Church under the leadership of the late Apostle Franklin Pettiford. In doing so, Pastor Jason soon discovered that God had marked his life with an unquestionable calling that would greatly impact his generation and those to come.
Through his unparalleled dedication in serving his local church, and his unwavering pursuit after the heart of God, Pastor Jason was selected to be the International Youth & Young Adult President within the International Bible Way Church of Jesus, Inc. In this role, he ministered to hundreds of youth and young adults, and personally discipled many individuals who are now in fulltime ministry. During this time, he strategically coupled his passion to see the lost saved and ministerial training to witness countless salvations and lives transformed through the preaching, teaching, and demonstration of Christ’s unfailing power and love.
Fueled by his laser focus to see the plan of God on his life come to complete fruition, in May 2014, Pastor Jason launched Christ Covenant Church through a series of dynamic Bible Studies. To date, the church is a growing pillar within the community and is widely known for its annual Back to School Drive, which provides free school supplies to local youth in need. Here, Pastor Jason serves alongside his beautiful wife Shakila Prince-Moody, and together, they are committed to making a difference one life at a time.
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; who hath made us able Ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” 2 Corinthians 3:5-6
Pastor Jason is a graduate of the R.N. Jones Ministerial Training Institute and holds a Bachelor’s of Theology.
